The Verizon Enter the Ultimate Game Day Experience Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on September 11, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and is scheduled to end on November 9, 2009 at 12:00 Midnight ET ("Sweepstakes Period").

Who may enter: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the U.S. and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater, at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors (and members of the immediate families or households of each) of Verizon Corporate Services Group Inc. (“Sponsor”), NPS LLC and New England Patriots L.P., and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, printers and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), are not eligible to participate.

How to enter: Visit www.patriots.com/gridironchallenge (the “Website”) and accurately complete and submit the information requested in the online registration form to receive your entry. Entry Forms must be received by 12:00 Midnight ET on November 9, 2009. Limit (1) entry per person. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the status of any entry.

Winning: On or about November 10, 2009, independent judges (“Judges”), hired by the Sponsor as Promotion Administrators, will select one potential grand prize winner and five potential first prize winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor will attempt to notify potential winners via phone call and overnight mail on or about November 11, 2009. If potential Grand Prize winner cannot be reached within 24 hours and after reasonable efforts have been made, if he/she is found to be ineligible, or if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, such person will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected via random drawing if time permits. Judges' decisions are final and binding on all participants. The potential winners must meet all eligibility requirements set forth in these rules to qualify for a prize.

Odds: Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

Claiming prize: Winners are subject to verification by Sponsor. All winners may be required to complete and submit an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, as determined by Sponsor, unless prohibited by law. Potential winners will be notified via overnight mail and email with instructions on how to complete and return the documents. Documents must be signed and notarized, and must be returned within two (2) business days of receipt or prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner via random drawing if time permits (Tennessee residents need not sign publicity releases). Sponsor is not responsible for any loss, delay, or damage during shipping. Sponsor will attempt to notify potential winners using the information submitted on his/her online entry form. If prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, if winner cannot be contacted and/or does not properly claim prize, if a winner is deemed ineligible for any reason or if a winner declines prize offered, prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner via random drawing. Properly claimed prizes will be awarded, provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received, but in no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded. Acceptance of the prize also constitutes permission to use winner’s name, biographical information, voice and/or likeness for Sponsor’s promotional and/or advertising purposes without notice or further compensation, unless legally prohibited.

Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: Winner and three (3) guests will each receive a lower level VIP ticket to the Jets vs. Patriots regular season home game scheduled for November 22, 2009 at 4:15 p.m. Winner and guests will also each receive: A pre-game field pass; an opportunity for a Meet and Greet with Jonathon Kraft; passes to the Patriots Pavilion area prior to the game; passes to the Hall of Fame; an autographed regulation NFL football signed by a current or former Patriots player (as determined by Sponsor) and a $100 CBS Scene Gift Card. Winner will be awarded one (1) autographed Patriots jersey signed by a current or former Patriots player (as determined by Sponsor). Winner will also receive two (2) hotel rooms (standard accommodations; double occupancy) near Gillette Stadium for the night of November 21, 2009. Grand Prize Winner and guests are responsible for all transportation, meals not specified, gratuities and any other incidental costs and expenses. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of grand prize: $2,430.00. Five (5) First Prizes: Two (2) tickets to the Patriots vs. Jets regular season home game scheduled for November 22, 2009 at 4:15 p.m. ARV of first prizes: $200.00 each. Total ARV of all prizes: $3,430.00.

Terms & Conditions applicable to prizes: Winners are responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, if any. Any difference in the stated ARV and the actual value of any prize will not be awarded. Prize details and availability are subject to change, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is non-transferable except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Except as set forth above, no substitutions or cash redemption is allowed. If any scheduled event listed herein as a prize or a portion of a prize does not take place for any reason, including but not limited to cancellation, postponement, weather, acts of God, or other forces beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor, the prize or relevant portion thereof will not be awarded.

Conditions: By participating in this Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, the decisions of the Sponsor and the decisions of the Judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Entrants, by participating, release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, the New England Patriots L.P. and NPS LLC, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, printers and advertising and promotion agencies, and directors, officers, shareholders, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, claims, actions, proceedings, or judgments, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance or use of the prizes and/or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity.

Releasees shall not be liable to Winner or any other person for failure to supply any prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God; any action(s), regulation(s), order(s), or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s), or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid); equipment failure; terrorist acts; earthquake; war; fire; flood; explosion; unusually severe weather; hurricane; embargo; labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal); labor or material shortage; transportation interruption of any kind; work slow-down; civil disturbance; insurrection; riot; or any other cause beyond Sponsor's sole control.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, garbled, illegible, incomplete, or misdirected registrations, messages, faxes, phone calls, entries or prize claims. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The use of automated or third-party software or website to register and/or enter is prohibited, and any registrations or entries made through such methods will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to void all registrations and entries made through any robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed or similar entry duplication method and to disqualify any individual using such a method. Sponsor not responsible for any: (a) telephone, computer, hardware, software, programming, or network malfunction or other technical failures or errors, or the failure to properly process entries; (b) communication disruption related to satellite or phone traffic or service interruptions, or other forces beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor, including, but not limited to, disruption related to Internet traffic, virus, bug or non-authorized intervention; or (c) damage caused by computer virus or otherwise resulting to any computer from such person’s access to the Website or Sweepstakes whether human, mechanical or electronic. If such malfunction, error, disruption or damage occurs, and impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes by posting a notice on www.patriots.com/gridironchallenge. (If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the end of the Sweepstakes Period, drawings will be conducted from among the eligible entries received as of the termination date and in a manner determined by Sponsor to be fair and equitable.) Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes, or whom Sponsor believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage will be disqualified. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any Websites or undermine the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes is a violation of United States civil and criminal law and may be prosecuted. Sweepstakes shall be governed solely according to U.S. law.
